Friday night, Lance was able to sweep action in both classes for the first time in his career, winning his Midwest Modified heat race from the outside of the front row and winning the feature easily from the 8th starting spot. He also was able to win his Late Model heat race from the pole and then went on to win the night’s Late Model feature from the 4th starting spot to complete the nightly sweep.
Saturday, he raced from 5th to 2nd in his Late Model heat race and then raced from 7th up to 5th in the feature and after winning his Midwest Modified heat race from the 2nd starting spot, he started in 3rd in the feature, but fell out before the checkered, ending his night early.
Sunday, he made his first ever trip to the Huset’s Speedway for the Tri-State Late Model Series event and set a new track record before winning his heat race from the pole and racing inside the top five all feature long, crossing the finish line with a solid fourth place finish for his efforts.
